The IQ Smoke is connected to your IQ Panel and monitored 24-7, whether your system is armed or not. The IQ Smoke detects the presence of smoke using photoelectric smoke-sensing technology and conforms to UL 217. The IQ Smoke detects the presence of smoke particles as well as the rapid rise in heat that can come from a fire, even if there is no smoke. Because your system is always connected, you can receive a text or email alert if there are any problems, wherever you are.
- "Always on" technology ensures the sensor is monitored around the clock, whether your system is armed or not

The IQ Hardwire 16-F offers a cost effective way of integrating hardwired security & smoke detector zones with the IQ Panel 2/2+. It includes backup battery charging, 500mA of 12volt auxiliary power, an onboard siren relay, built-in status LED's for each zone and support for up to 10 two-wire smoke detectors. Normally Open and Normally Closed contacts are supported as well as powered zones like motion sensors and glass break detectors.
- Encrypted S-Line sensor technology protects signals sent to the IQ Panel while still providing support for legacy 319.5 systems
- Supports up to ten two wire smoke detectors
- LED lighted zones for ease of "learn-in" installation/troubleshooting

An "active" RS-485 data bus hub designed for jobs where an M1Gold or M1EZ8 Control is retrofitting an older panel that has multiple homerun 4 conductor keypad/data wires. It splits the main 485 data bus into 4 managed 485 branches. Each branch can have 2 parallel home run cables for a total of 8 home runs. The end of each cable is EOL terminated to insure proper operation and supervision.
