XT Series control panels can be plugged in and powered by a 12V DC power adapter for sites where a power supply is availabe. Alkaline batteries provide 3-6 months backup power (depending on alarm activity) if the local power supply fails.

The 5880 provides you with 40 programmable LED outputs to customize your remote graphical annunciator. The 5880 also provides eight supervised dry contact inputs that can be used to monitor fire alarm pull stations, waterflow and tamper switches, or replicate the 5820XL-EVS eight emergency communication switches with mushroom buttons.
