The compact and sleek new WT5500 Wire-Free Keypad is designed to work with the ALEXOR Wireless Panel. Since ALEXOR is mounted in a secure location within the home away from main access areas the WT5500 provides an easy-to-use and convenient main interface to the system. And with handy wall or free-standing desk stand mounting options ALEXOR supports 4 keypads, but IMPASSA only supports 1 additional keypad. Installers can offer homeowners more choice in where keypads may be located throughout the home. The WT5500 can be conveniently located on the wall just inside the front door or on a desk-stand in the kitchen or even near a bedside.
The WT5500 is entirely wire-free. With batteries as its main power source, it does not require any drilling or electrical wiring for its installation and operation. With the wall mount option, the installer simply affixes the wall plate (included) onto the wall and sits the keypad on the plate. Keypad programming is simple and fast with DSCs Quick Enroll feature. The keypad also provides installer programming, so no dedicated keypad is needed for installation.
The signals between the WT5500 and ALEXOR are fully encrypted. This prohibits unauthorized interruption or interception of the communication between the keypad and ALEXOR. And even though it is wire-free, if the WT5500 is ever tampered with or the power is removed, its off-line status will immediately signal ALEXOR and the system will instantly go into alarm, alerting authorities.
Although compact, the WT5500 still offers a host of the great features you expect from DSC keypads. These include the multiple door chimes feature which allows for pre-programmed chimes to identify specific zones. Zones can include anything from front doors, to patio doors to pool gates or specially protected cabinets. Audible beeps provide notification of alarms, entry/exit delays or status conditions and troubles. The WT5500 also features a large, easy-to-read 2x16 display and contoured, programmable, illuminated keys, as well as one-touch function keys and universally recognized icons. The WT5500P, which mirrors all the features of the WT5500, also offers proximity functionality. The prox tag*, the PT4, (a small tag, easily attached to a key ring) allows a homeowner to arm and disarm their system, without using a code.
When the wire-free keypad is not in use, it moves into a battery preservation mode while remaining entirely online. When the batteries are low, an indication light alerts the end user to change them. The user can easily remove the product from the wall mount, take off the backing and make the replacement. The WT5500D, with all the same functionality of the WT5500, also comes with a desk mount kit and AC transformer. The WT5500D can be used with AC as its primary source of power and with the battery feature as backup an option that is ideal for use beside a bed or on a kitchen countertop. When the WT5500 is wirelessly connected to the WT4911 outdoor siren (equipped with a temperature sensor), the keypad also displays the outdoor temperature.

Designed to enhance the user experience, controlling the security system has never been easier. At the touch of a finger, extremely intuitive, menu-driven screens allow full control over the system. For ultimate convenience and comfort, the 2-Way Wireless TouchScreen boasts a Voice Prompts and Voice Chime feature, offering verbally enunciated system status updates.
Capitalizing on the wireless factor, the DSC 2-Way Wireless TouchScreen can be conveniently installed anywhere in the house on a wall or desk stand mount. With minimal installation time required and no holes to drill, the 2-Way Wireless TouchScreen offers homeowners more choice in where the keypads may be located throughout the home, including locations where wiring is difficult or impossible. Aesthetically pleasing and simple to use, this 2-Way Wireless TouchScreen becomes the preferred way to control the user functions of the security system. The DSC 2-Way Wireless TouchScreen has been designed with the user in mind, without sacrificing form for function. Configuring, programming and controlling user options of the system is now easily achieved through an intuitive, menu driven, interface. Seamlessly integrated with IMPASSA, ALEXOR and PowerSeries (via the TR5164) security systems, the fullmessage 2-Way Wireless TouchScreen supports up to a maximum of 64 zones. Equipped to support multiple languages, a maximum of four Wireless TouchScreens can be connected, depending on the security system that they are connected to. The 2-Way Wireless TouchScreen conveniently displays user-relevant information, such as the outside temperature, registered through the WT4911 Outdoor Siren.

The key to a better security system is the WT4989 2-Way Wireless Key from DSC. The WT4989 offers great added value to any security system installation.
The WT4989 provides users with management of their ALEXOR Wireless Panel and the added confidence of portable personal protection directly at their fingertips. Users can arm/disarm the system easily as they approach their house or call for help from anywhere inside or in close proximity to it (via the panic button). Because the WT4989 employs 2-Way wireless, ALEXOR communicates to the key and vice-versa. Featuring an icon display and built-in buzzer, the WT4989 provides both visual and audible indication to the homeowner that the operation they requested has been performed and acknowledged. System status indicators on the key alert the homeowner if the residence is in alarm or if it has recently been in alarm, before they enter the home.
The WT4989 has five buttons, the system status button, plus four additional programmable buttons with six available function options. Programming for certain functions can include garage door openers, indoor/outdoor light operation or powered gate access. A multifunction clip allows the wireless key to be clipped to an easily accessible location like a belt, keychain or lanyard.
